Operations Manager – Telecoms & IT (Northern Ireland)

About the role
We are seeking a senior Operations Manager to lead regional operations across Northern Ireland for a fast‑growing communications company. The role oversees delivery teams, ensures project performance and acts as the key link between field engineers and senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end operational delivery for the region, supervising Project Managers and Field Engineers.
- Own service level agreements (SLAs) and monitor live projects through the CRM system.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for urgent issues, driving rapid resolution.
- Plan resources, oversee vehicle fleet and stock management, and ensure optimal utilisation.
- Track and report on KPIs, customer outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven senior operations or service delivery experience, preferably in telecoms or technical services.
- Strong people‑management skills with ability to conduct performance conversations.
- Comfortable analysing KPIs and identifying process improvements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Experience with CRM systems for project tracking.
- Proficiency in using Project Management tools.
- Knowledge of SLA management.
