Operations Officer – Communications & Events

About the role
The Operations Officer (Communications & Events) will provide operational and administrative support to the Communications & Engagement and Research Commissioning & Capacity Building teams within ADR UK. Working from Polaris House in Swindon with hybrid flexibility, the role will help deliver digital communications, manage event programmes and assist with commissioning and fellowship administration.
Key responsibilities
- Manage shared mailboxes and act as first point of contact for project‑related enquiries.
- Maintain administrative processes such as project and publication trackers.
- Support purchase order processing and other finance‑related administrative tasks.
- Assist in planning, organising and delivering internal and external meetings, webinars and events.
- Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives to streamline team workflows.
- Provide ad‑hoc support for the commissioning and fellowship programmes as required.
Required profile
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly to the London office.
