Operations Planner – Shipping Operations

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Planner to manage daily terminal activities at our Portsmouth facility. You will coordinate shipping operations, prepare operational worksheets and allocate resources to meet safety and efficiency targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of terminal operations.
• Liaise with planners and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate container park planning requirements to operational staff.
• Prepare daily worksheets and manage resource allocation to meet operational targets.
• Support the delivery of safe and efficient terminal operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in shipping or port operations.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Proactive team player.

• Competitive salary £33,000 – £37,000 per year.
