Operations Supervisor – Trade Counter & Warehouse

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our Plumb Parts branch in Eastleigh. You will lead a small team, serve trade customers at the counter and ensure smooth stock and delivery processes across the store and warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Serve trade customers at the counter, providing product advice and recommendations.
• Process in‑store and online orders, liaising with suppliers.
• Manage stock levels on the shop floor and in the warehouse, including receiving deliveries.
• Open new accounts and generate new business opportunities.
• Lead, coach and schedule a small team to maintain branch performance.
• Ensure health, safety and compliance standards are met.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a plumbing or heating product environment.
• Proven background in face‑to‑face customer service and sales.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience – essential.
• Team‑player attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
