About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Optical Assistant to join our independent boutique practice in Brighton. The role combines customer service with fashion‑forward eyewear styling, ensuring clients receive professional eye‑health checks and look great in their new glasses.
Key responsibilities
- Meet and greet customers, delivering excellent customer service.
- Perform pre‑screening eye health checks.
- Style clients and advise on fashionable eyewear.
- Dispense glasses and manage orders.
- Fit and repair spectacles.
- Teach contact lens use and care.
- Carry out optical administration duties.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an optical setting.
- Positive, fashion‑focused attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team‑player who enjoys a friendly workplace.
