Optical Assistant – Customer‑Facing Role in Wandsworth

About the role
Join a friendly independent optical store in Wandsworth, South West London. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with eye‑care needs while working alongside an experienced optometrist.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers and deliver excellent customer service.
- Perform pre‑screening eye health checks.
- Hand over customers smoothly to the optometrist.
- Dispense glasses and assist with fitting.
- Fit, repair and adjust spectacles.
- Teach customers how to use contact lenses.
- Carry out routine administration duties.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in an optical or eye‑care environment.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.

- Contact lens fitting and instruction
