About the role
Join a small, independent, up‑market optical chain in Hove, offering a friendly atmosphere and a dynamic retail environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service while supporting the optometry team.
Key responsibilities
- Meet and greet customers, providing high‑quality customer service.
- Perform pre‑screening eye health checks.
- Ensure a smooth handover of customers to the optometrist.
- Dispense glasses and assist with fitting.
- Fit and repair spectacles.
- Teach customers how to use contact lenses.
- Carry out routine administration duties.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an optical or eye‑care setting.
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and ability to hit the ground running.
