About the role
We are recruiting for an Optical Assistant to join an established independent optical practice in Altrincham. The role focuses on delivering a personal, high-quality customer experience while supporting the optical team with appointments, administration and eye‑care guidance.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome clients and provide first‑class customer service.
- Manage appointments and support the wider optical team.
- Assist with pre‑screening and general administrative tasks.
- Advise clients on frame styles, lenses and coatings.
- Help with spectacle fitting, adjustments and contact lens care.
- Maintain accurate client records and keep the practice environment organised.
Required profile
- Experienced Optical Assistants or Dispensing Opticians.
- Retail or customer‑service background looking to move into optics.
- Interest in content creation and supporting the practice’s online presence.
