About the role

Lunaria Recruitment is seeking an experienced Optical Branch Manager to lead a modern independent practice in Weymouth. You will be responsible for delivering a premium in‑store experience while driving commercial performance and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the optical practice, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team to achieve their full potential.
• Identify growth opportunities and drive branch performance.
• Support staff training, engagement and ongoing professional development.
• Manage administration, compliance and operational procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager and wider network.

Required profile

• Previous management experience within an optical practice.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially aware with a passion for customer service.
• Organised, self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.
