About the role
We are seeking an Optical Lab Manager to lead our lab in Birmingham. The role builds on experience as an optical lab technician and offers the chance to develop leadership skills while ensuring high‑quality production.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the optical lab team by example, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
- Maintain high quality standards in lens and frame production.
- Support and develop lab staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Manage scheduling, including weekend shifts, to meet store demands.
Required profile
- Proven hands‑on experience working in an optical laboratory.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt, support and develop team members in a fast‑paced environment.
