Opticians Practice Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dispensing Optician to lead our independent practice in Clapham, London. The role combines patient‑focused eye care with day‑to‑day management of a high‑end optical boutique.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth operation of the practice, ensuring 45‑minute appointments run efficiently.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of opticians and support staff.
• Handle complex dispensing cases and respond to patient queries.
• Maintain high standards of service, quality dispensing and premium frame selection.
• Ensure compliance with GOC regulations and practice policies.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC.
• Proven experience managing people in an independent, high‑end optical environment.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Passion for premium eyewear and patient‑centred service.
