About the role

Join Vision Express as an Optometrist Coordinator, supporting the daily flow of a busy optical clinic in East London. You will blend customer‑facing duties with behind‑the‑scenes coordination to ensure a seamless experience for clients and the optometry team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily clinic schedules to maximise efficiency.
• Book and manage customer appointments accurately.
• Welcome customers and act as the first point of contact in‑store.
• Support smooth handovers from the testing room to the sales floor.
• Assist and coordinate optometrist team members throughout the day.
• Identify challenges proactively and encourage colleagues to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Balance clinical coordination with customer‑facing activity in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident, friendly and professional with excellent people skills.
• Emotionally intelligent and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
• Able to challenge and influence colleagues positively when needed.
• Calm, proactive communicator who keeps the customer at the centre of every decision.
