About the role

Join Specsavers Morningside as an Optometrist delivering high‑standard eye examinations and contact lens services. You will work alongside a friendly store team to provide excellent clinical care while supporting business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for a diverse patient base.
• Fit and dispense contact lenses and spectacles.
• Provide professional advice on eye health and visual aids.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with store staff to create a welcoming environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Optometrist with registration to practice in the UK.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
• Ability to work flexible full‑time or part‑time patterns.

Required skills

• Eye examinations
• Contact lens fitting
• Prescribing glasses
• Independent prescribing (if qualified)
• WOPEC qualification (preferred)
