About the role

Specsavers in Colchester is expanding its eye‑care team and is looking for a GOC‑registered Optometrist to join on a full‑time or part‑time basis. You will work in a friendly, supportive environment, delivering high‑quality clinical care and a memorable customer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses.
• Maintain the highest standards of clinical care and product selection for each patient.
• Build lasting relationships with customers, colleagues and local healthcare professionals.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest eye‑care information and technology.

Required profile

• GOC‑registered Optometrist.
• Passion for patient care and a vibrant, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work flexibly across full‑time or part‑time schedules.

Required skills

• Independent Prescribing (optional qualification).
