Optometrist – Full/Part Time in Haywards Heath

About the role
Specsavers is seeking a motivated Optometrist to join its Haywards Heath store. The role can be full‑time or part‑time with weekend flexibility, offering a modern clinical environment and a supportive team.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
- Provide accurate prescriptions and advice on glasses, contact lenses and eye health.
- Utilise OCT and Phoropters in each test room to diagnose and monitor ocular conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of optometrists, dispensing and contact‑lens opticians, and optical assistants.
- Participate in store management activities and, where applicable, supervise Pre‑Reg trainees.
Required profile
- Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- Newly qualified or experienced optometrist with a passion for patient care.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
- Experience using Phoropters.
