About the role

As an Optometrist at Specsavers Redruth you will deliver comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens services while providing a high standard of clinical care. You will work closely with the store team to meet patient needs and support business objectives in a friendly, community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses.
• Provide contact lens fitting and after‑care advice.
• Maintain clinical standards and hygiene across six testing rooms.
• Collaborate with store staff to ensure seamless customer service.
• Participate in glaucoma and post‑cataract clinics as required.

Required profile

• Registered member of the General Optical Council (GOC) and kept up to date.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Team‑player who thrives in a retail‑clinical setting.

Required skills

• Eye examination techniques.
