Optometrist – Full/Part‑time – Port Talbot

About the role
As an Optometrist at Specsavers in Port Talbot you will deliver high‑standard eye examinations and contact‑lens services, ensuring patients receive accurate diagnoses and personalised care. You will work alongside the store team to meet both clinical and business objectives while contributing to a friendly, community‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assess visual health.
- Provide contact‑lens fitting, dispensing and after‑care advice.
- Deliver clinical advice and referrals to ophthalmology services when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with GOC regulations.
- Support store management with sales targets and customer service standards.
Required profile
- GOC‑registered Optometrist, newly qualified or experienced.
- Passion for delivering excellent patient care and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and potential management responsibilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with modern clinical equipment such as OCT.

- Competitive salary up to £65,000 per year, plus a Golden Hello bonus of up to £10,000 (terms apply).
