Optometrist – Full‑time – Broadstairs

About the role

Vision Express is seeking a qualified optometrist to join its Broadstairs store on a full‑time basis. You will work in a modern environment equipped with OCT and an Auto Phoropter, delivering accurate eye examinations and personalised recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye tests using OCT and Auto Phoropter equipment.
• Provide clear diagnoses and prescribe corrective lenses or other treatments.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and confidence.
• Contribute to the commercial performance of the store by meeting sales targets.
• Collaborate with colleagues, sharing ideas and supporting team initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Strong clinical expertise and ability to communicate diagnoses effectively.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Commitment to the commercial success of the store.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) equipment.
• Experience using an Auto Phoropter.
• GOC registration.

What we offer

• Salary up to £79,000 per year (based on experience and location).
• Car allowance of £4,000.
