Optometrist – Full‑time role in Winchester

About the role

Vision Express is seeking a qualified optometrist to join its Winchester store. You will work in a fully equipped test room with OCT and an Auto Phoropter, delivering accurate eye examinations and building patient confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using OCT and Auto Phoropter.
• Provide clear diagnoses and recommend appropriate corrective lenses or treatments.
• Contribute to the commercial success of the store by meeting sales and performance targets.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a high‑quality customer experience.

Required profile

• Qualified and GOC‑registered optometrist.
• Strong clinical expertise with the ability to communicate diagnoses clearly.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
• Commitment to store performance and customer satisfaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
• Experience using an Auto Phoropter.

What we offer

• Salary up to £79,000 plus a £4,000 car allowance.
