Optometrist – Full‑time role in Yeovil

About the role

We are seeking a qualified, GOC‑registered optometrist to join our Yeovil store on a full‑time basis. You will work in a modern test environment equipped with OCT and a Phoropter, delivering accurate eye examinations and personalised vision solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye tests using OCT and Phoropter equipment.
• Provide clear diagnoses and recommend appropriate corrective lenses or treatments.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and build confidence in patients.
• Collaborate with store team to achieve commercial targets and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Participate in optional overtime shifts through the TG Pool network.

Required profile

• Qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Strong clinical expertise and ability to communicate diagnoses effectively.
• Team‑player who enjoys sharing ideas and supporting colleagues.
• Commitment to contributing to the store’s commercial success.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OCT imaging technology.
• Experience using a Phoropter for refraction.
