About the role

Vision Express is seeking a qualified optometrist to join its Weston‑super‑Mare store on a full‑time basis. You will work in a modern test room equipped with OCT and an auto‑phoropter, delivering high‑quality eye examinations to a diverse patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using OCT and auto‑phoropter equipment.
• Provide accurate diagnoses and recommend appropriate corrective lenses or treatments.
• Maintain patient records in accordance with GOC standards.
• Collaborate with store staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Participate in store performance initiatives and sales targets.

Required profile

• Qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Strong clinical expertise and ability to communicate diagnoses clearly.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) equipment.
• Experience operating an auto‑phoropter.
