About the role
Specsavers is seeking a qualified Optometrist to join its Morpeth store. You will deliver high‑quality eye care to a diverse customer base, working within a supportive, community‑focused team.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests.
- Prescribe and dispense corrective lenses and advise on appropriate eyewear.
- Provide professional advice on eye health and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with GOC standards.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest clinical technology and equipment.
Required profile
- Qualified and GOC‑registered Optometrist.
- Confident with a strong work ethic.
- Motivated to succeed and willing to go the extra mile.
- Team‑oriented, encouraging colleagues and contributing to a positive environment.
Required skills
- GOC registration.
- Qualified optometry practice.

- Salary up to £70,000 per annum (experience dependent).
- Up to £10,000 joining bonus and £19,000 relocation assistance (terms apply).
