About the role

Join a thriving Specsavers partnership as an Optometrist Partner, owning and leading two high‑performing practices in Maldon and South Woodham Ferrers. You will work alongside existing partners Jan and Mike to drive growth, deliver excellent eye‑care services and build a long‑term investment in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑own and manage two retail optometry stores, overseeing day‑to‑day operations.
• Lead clinical teams to provide high‑quality eye examinations and specialised services.
• Develop and implement business growth strategies for both locations.
• Maintain strong relationships with local healthcare professionals and community organisations.
• Oversee enhanced services such as MECS, cataract post‑op clinics and glaucoma referral refinement.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.

Required profile

• Fully qualified and registered Optometrist.
• Significant experience in a retail or community optometry setting.
• Proven leadership or management experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to become a business owner.
• Willingness to invest £150,000 for a 33% shareholding.
