About the role

Vision Express is seeking a qualified Optometrist to join its Taunton store. You will work in a fully equipped test room environment, providing high‑quality eye examinations and patient care while benefiting from strong corporate support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses.
• Utilise up‑to‑date diagnostic equipment across four test rooms.
• Provide specialist services such as Medical Retina and Glaucoma monitoring when required.
• Collaborate with an experienced store team to achieve clinical and commercial targets.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to professional standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Optometrist with a valid UK registration.
• Willingness to work a minimum of three days per week, including at least one weekend day.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

What we offer

• Salary up to £66,000 (subject to experience) plus a £4,000 car allowance.
• Flexible full‑time or part‑time contracts (minimum 3 days, weekend required).
