Optometrist – Up to £79k + Benefits

About the role

Vision Express is seeking a qualified optometrist to join its Trowbridge store, located within a Tesco supermarket. You will work in fully equipped test rooms featuring OCT and phoropters, delivering high‑quality eye examinations and patient care on a flexible full‑time or part‑time schedule that may include weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using OCT and phoropter equipment.
• Provide accurate diagnoses and recommend appropriate corrective lenses or treatments.
• Maintain detailed patient records in line with GOC standards.
• Collaborate with store staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Participate in sales and performance initiatives, including bonus schemes.

Required profile

• Qualified and GOC‑registered optometrist.
• Strong clinical expertise with the ability to build patient confidence.
• Team‑oriented mindset, willing to share ideas and support colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OCT imaging technology.
• Experience operating phoropters.

• Salary up to £79,000 plus a £4,000 car allowance.
