Order Coordinator

About the role

Our client, a UK manufacturer of bespoke timber doors and other timber products, is seeking a Regional Order Coordinator to ensure the smooth flow of commercially cleared orders from estimators to production. You will act as the technical quality gate, guaranteeing that every order entering the production pipeline is complete, accurate, and technically sound.

Key responsibilities

• Check orders received from estimators for commercial cleanliness and technical completeness.
• Pause, return, or reject orders that do not meet agreed information or technical standards.
• Provide the Production Team with accurate information via effective Request For Information (RFI) processes.
• Challenge and clarify orders with External Sales Managers or Project Managers before release to production.
• Handle non‑commercial changes such as delivery date adjustments, administrative error corrections, and completion of missing technical details.
• Escalate any change with commercial impact back to the Estimator for re‑quotation and customer agreement.

Required profile

• Ability to act as the technical quality gate for incoming orders.
• Authority to pause, return, or reject orders that fail to meet standards.
• Capability to manage non‑commercial order modifications while recognising commercial impacts.
