Order Processing Specialist

About the role

Under the direction of the Order Processing Team Leader, the Order Processing Specialist will create, review and approve client orders, ensuring compliance with internal standards and client requirements. The role supports efficient order prioritisation and contributes to business and customer‑service objectives in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create, review and approve orders in the Global Project Management (GPM) system, guaranteeing accurate and complete documentation.
• Process orders promptly to meet internal and external customer expectations.
• Follow all training, refresher programmes and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Consistently achieve defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy and housekeeping.
• Communicate effectively with cross‑functional internal teams.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
• Strong computer literacy with a focus on data entry.
• High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate workloads in a fast‑paced environment.

What we offer

• 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
• 38.75 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:00 pm.
• On‑site role at Horsham, Langhurstwood Road.
• Hourly rate of £14.68.
