About the role
We are seeking an Organisational Development Consultant to join a Housing Association in London. This newly established, permanent role will work closely with the HR team to ensure the workforce meets regulatory and competency standards, while supporting strategic workforce planning.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct skills needs analysis to assess internal capabilities and regulatory compliance.
- Identify individuals requiring further qualifications and collaborate with HR to develop development plans.
- Develop frameworks defining required skills, behaviours, and competencies for each role.
- Partner with HR on organisational design, workforce planning, role design, learning pathways, and performance management.
- Analyse compliance gaps and mitigate risk by monitoring competence and capability standards.
- Work with recruitment to attract talent that meets regulatory skill requirements.
- Collaborate with L&D to shape learning strategies and career pathways.
- Maintain oversight of current and future competence risk, contributing to succession planning.
Required profile
- Experience in a regulatory standards environment such as housing, legal, construction, or finance services.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across functions.
- Understanding of legislation and regulation as they relate to workforce competence.
- Proven track record of delivering the responsibilities outlined above.
