Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant

About the role

This position is for an Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant working on a family‑owned travel management company's repatriation team. You will support clients facing medical emergencies by arranging urgent travel and accommodation outside normal business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Book travel and hotel accommodation for emergency medical assistance cases.
• Understand client needs and provide professional advice to resolve travel and transportation challenges.
• Manage enquiries from initial contact through to booking, prioritising urgent requests.
• Implement operational procedures that enhance client satisfaction and service growth.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in the travel industry.
• Ability to work night shifts (10 pm‑8 am weekdays, 9 pm‑8 am weekends).
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Galileo Global Distribution System (or other GDS).
