Outbound Shift Manager

About the role

The Outbound Shift Manager leads the distribution team during the shift, ensuring that all outbound orders are processed accurately, on time, and safely. You will be responsible for meeting key performance indicators, maintaining product quality, and fostering a safe, collaborative work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the shift team to achieve all KPIs related to order accuracy, timeliness, and safety.
• Develop and coach colleagues to reach their full potential.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, food‑safety, health‑and‑safety, and relevant certifications (BRCGS, ISO).
• Monitor and audit outgoing orders, handling, storage, and shipping of meal kits.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate digital records of production and safety data, analysing trends for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with HR, training, and cross‑functional teams to resolve day‑to‑day queries.
• Lead or support ad‑hoc projects and company initiatives such as colleague wellbeing surveys.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a distribution management role.
• Strong knowledge of distribution processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Effective communication skills and ability to lead a diverse team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency in G‑Suite applications.
