Outsourced Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Outsourced Finance Manager to act as the primary finance contact for a portfolio of client businesses in Oxford. The role blends technical accounting work with client interaction, helping businesses improve financial visibility and support commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
• Build strong relationships and become the trusted finance contact for each client.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of financial information and accounting records.
• Produce and present financial reports and management information.
• Provide meaningful financial insight to support commercial decision‑making.
• Drive process improvements and support the adoption of new technology.
• Mentor and develop less experienced team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably within an accountancy firm.
• Strong client‑facing and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to translate data into actionable insight.
• Self‑motivated with the capacity to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
