P2P Lead – Purchase to Pay Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive P2P Lead to own the purchase‑to‑pay cycle across multiple entities of a growing multi‑entity organisation. You will work closely with senior finance leadership to ensure accurate transaction processing, strong supplier relationships and effective cash‑flow management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a small transactional finance team.
• Manage the end‑to‑end purchase ledger process across several entities.
• Ensure supplier invoices are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee supplier statement reconciliations and resolve queries.
• Monitor aged creditors, support cash‑flow management and lead payment runs, including payroll‑related payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and treasury administration.
• Maintain compliance with VAT, tax and internal approval processes.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and operational efficiencies.

Required profile

• Significant experience in accounts payable / purchase‑to‑pay processes.
• Previous supervisory or team‑leadership experience in a multi‑site or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and transactional finance processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with the ability to work independently.
