Packer – Temporary Production Role

About the role

We are looking for motivated Packers to join a fast‑moving production team on a temporary basis. You will work in a dedicated packing area, handling moulded pulp products and ensuring they are ready for shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Hand‑pack products according to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect each item for defects and report any issues immediately.
• Generate and apply accurate labels for all packed goods.
• Keep the packing zone clean, organised and safe.
• Work closely with colleagues to improve workflow efficiency.
• Support the training of new team members when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Basic computer literacy for label creation and production recording.
• Strong organisational ability and good hand‑eye coordination.
• Commitment to health and safety policies and proactive reporting of hazards.
• A caring attitude toward coworkers and the environment.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £13.50.
• Monday‑to‑Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm schedule.
