Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Permanent (Full‑time)

About the role

Our client, a well‑known paediatric clinic in Surrey, is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will deliver specialist therapy services to children aged 0‑16 with a range of developmental and neurological conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an autonomous clinical caseload, conducting assessments using both standardised and informal tools.
• Interpret assessment data, produce detailed reports and develop child‑ and family‑centred treatment plans employing goal attainment scaling.
• Deliver 1:1 and small‑group therapy sessions, adapting techniques to maximise each child’s potential.
• Maintain high‑quality clinical records and ensure effective communication with the multidisciplinary team.
• Promote safety and risk management for all children and families.

Required profile

• Recognised Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration (Licence to Practice).
• Post‑graduate short courses relevant to paediatrics.
• Broad clinical experience with children, including autism spectrum disorder, dyspraxia, sensory processing disorder and neurological conditions.
• Experience coordinating intervention planning in paediatric settings.
