Paid Student Teacher & Teaching Assistant Roles – Flexible

About the role
We are looking for student teachers and education students who want paid, part‑time experience in primary schools across Salford. You will support classroom activities, provide 1‑to‑1 or small‑group assistance and help with reading, phonics and SEND interventions while fitting the role around your studies.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom tasks and pupil support.
- Deliver 1:1 or small‑group learning sessions, including reading and phonics.
- Provide learning support for SEND pupils and help with interventions.
- Support classroom management and behaviour strategies.
- Undertake HLTA‑style duties where experience permits.
Required profile
- Currently studying towards QTS, teaching qualification or related education course.
- Previous experience working with children.
- Strong communication and professional attitude.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Flexibility to work around university and school timetables.
