Painter & Decorator – NHS Contract in Middlesex

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Painter & Decorator to join an NHS site in Middlesex on a temporary contract. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £18‑£20 and a standard 37.5‑hour week, with vehicle provision for travel to the site.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine and non‑routine painting and decorating tasks across the building fabric.
• Perform new works, repairs, and planned maintenance activities.
• Respond to reactive work requests and minor installation jobs.
• Execute weekly preventative maintenance dockets efficiently.
• Escort contractors during inspections and installations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
• Maintain tool inventories and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.

Required profile

• National Certificate City & Guilds or equivalent NVQ Level 2 in painting & decorating.
• Recognised painting qualification or approved training scheme.
• Standard DBS clearance.
• Full clean manual driving licence (vehicle provided).
