Painter & Decorator – Staines

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our Staines team. You will carry out a variety of internal painting and decorating tasks across residential properties, supporting responsive maintenance works and ensuring properties are returned to a lettable or liveable condition.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and paint internal surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors and woodwork.
• Apply emulsion, gloss and specialist finishes with accuracy.
• Install wallpaper and perform decorative detailing where required.
• Carry out external painting at height using ladders, including fascia boards and soffits.
• Treat damp and mould issues.
• Support void property refurbishments and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Conduct snagging and touch‑up work after other trades.
• Maintain tools, equipment and the company vehicle to a high standard.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, clients and colleagues.
• Complete job records and documentation accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Proven experience in painting and decorating, including wallpapering.
• Experience with damp and mould treatments.
• Ability to work safely at height and use ladders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
