Painter – Internal & External Decorations

About the role

Ian Williams is seeking a skilled Painter to join its growing painting business based in Bristol. You will specialise in delivering high‑quality internal and external decorations for residential properties, working directly with customers and their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Complete internal and external decoration projects in housing settings.
• Prepare surfaces, apply paints, wallpapers and finishes to a professional standard.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures to protect yourself, colleagues and customers.
• Collaborate with team members and residents to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Maintain tools, equipment and PPE in good condition.

Required profile

• Preferably qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade.
• Experience in domestic or social housing environments is desirable but not essential.
• Strong commitment to customer service and a passion for improving homes.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Painting and decorating techniques.
• Surface preparation and finishing.
• Use of PPE and safety equipment.
