About the role
We are seeking a reliable Painter/Decorator to join our team at a busy student accommodation site in Poole. This temporary, PAYE position offers a competitive hourly rate and includes all tools and materials needed to deliver high‑quality finishes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, priming, and cleaning.
- Apply paints, varnishes, and finishes to walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
- Carry out minor repair work prior to painting.
- Maintain a neat, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and adhere to agreed timelines.
Required profile
- Proven experience in residential painting and decorating.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve high‑quality finishes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good time‑management and reliability.
