Panel Wirer – Electrical Assembly Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Panel Wirer to join our new Nottingham site. You will be responsible for wiring control panels and switchgear that power data centres for leading technology companies. The role offers a four‑day work week and a supportive, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Wire control panels and switchgear according to detailed electrical diagrams and specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Test and inspect completed panels to confirm correct wiring and functionality.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve wiring‑related issues.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and record wiring tasks and test results accurately.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Assembler, or similar role in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring techniques and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to panel assembly.

What we offer

• Permanent contract with a four‑day week (Monday‑Thursday, 7:15 am‑5:30 pm).
• Salary £33,421 – £36,500 per year.
