Panel Wirer – Electrical Control Panels

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Panel Wirer to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Leeds. You will work in a clean, modern environment assembling bespoke electrical control panels for a growing order book.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
• Wire and assemble control panels from start to finish, including cable termination, relays, contactors and circuit breakers.
• Perform point‑to‑point wiring and install components according to engineering specifications.
• Test completed panels, assist with fault finding and ensure compliance with quality and H&S standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Fitter or Electrical Assembly Technician.
• Strong ability to read and work from electrical drawings and wiring schematics.
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering high‑quality work.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
