Paralegal – Actions Against the Police

About the role
The Actions Against the Police department in Liverpool is expanding its litigation team. We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support a lead solicitor on a diverse portfolio of police‑related civil cases across the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the lead solicitor from instruction through to trial on Actions Against the Police matters.
- Prepare and manage case files, pleadings, and evidence bundles.
- Conduct legal research and draft correspondence.
- Liaise with clients, witnesses, and external counsel.
- Support trial preparation, including witness statements and exhibit management.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in civil litigation or 2 years in a personal injury team.
- Strong understanding of UK civil procedure and police‑related claims.
- Ambitious, with a desire to progress to a training contract.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
