Paralegal – Litigation & Dispute Support

About the role

Brandon James Ltd, a specialist law firm serving international clients in life sciences and technology, is looking for a Paralegal to support its litigation and dispute teams. The successful candidate will work on a variety of matters across patent litigation, competition, technology, construction and general disputes, gaining exposure to sophisticated legal work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist legal teams in coordinating and progressing cases, including pre‑hearing preparation and bundle creation.
• Prepare, organise and maintain case files and databases, ensuring accurate privilege and legal advice records.
• Review and analyse documents for relevance and privilege, conduct document review and support disclosure work.
• Proofread legal documentation and conduct legal research using external databases.
• Liaise with clients, overseas law firms and other representatives, and coordinate international conference calls.
• Take and draft meeting minutes, and provide general support to fee earners on ad‑hoc matters.
