Paralegal – Private Client (Hybrid, Berkshire)

About the role

We are seeking a Paralegal with at least two years of experience to join our private client team in Berkshire. The role is hybrid, with three days on‑site and two days remote, and focuses on delivering modern, efficient, and empathetic probate and estate administration services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters.
• Provide advice on probate, inheritance tax and private client issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including IHT forms, grant applications and estate accounts.
• Ensure compliance with probate law, SRA regulations and internal governance standards.
• Collaborate with product, technology and customer service teams to improve service delivery.
• Handle sensitive client interactions with professionalism and clarity.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in probate or private client work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, especially in emotionally sensitive situations.
