Paralegal – Real Estate & Projects – Hybrid

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Real Estate & Projects team within a well‑established UK law firm. Based in Leeds, you will support solicitors and partners on complex property matters while developing your own caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Assist solicitors and fee earners with day‑to‑day file management.
• Draft transaction summaries, land agreements, development agreements, transfers and sectional agreements.
• Review and report on due‑diligence searches and produce title reports for development site acquisitions.
• Handle land transfers, including pre‑ and post‑completion formalities and preparation of completion statements.
• Submit priority searches, liaise directly with clients and manage Land Registry applications and requisitions.
• Draft ancillary documentation such as deeds of covenant, Land Registry certificates and transfers.
• Meet departmental targets and comply with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2:2 Law degree (or equivalent conversion course).
• Strong interest in real‑estate and property law.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
