Paralegal – Support Solicitors in Fast-Paced Law Firm

About the role

Our client, a forward-thinking law firm in Swindon, is looking for a proactive Paralegal to support solicitors in a fast‑paced environment. The role involves managing case files, conducting legal research and preparing documents while ensuring high standards of client service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist solicitors in preparing legal documents such as contracts, briefs and pleadings.
• Conduct legal research and compile relevant information.
• Maintain and organise case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise professionally with clients, stakeholders and third parties.
• Manage solicitors’ diaries and schedule appointments using Microsoft Outlook.
• Prepare reports and summaries for solicitor review.
• Draft documents and manage data using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal firm procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a law firm (desirable).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent time‑management with ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proactive, motivated and committed to a long‑term career in law.
