Paraplanner / Associate Financial Planner

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is based in Newcastle and offers a clear pathway from paraplanning to financial planning. You will work alongside senior planners, supporting high‑net‑worth clients while developing the expertise needed to become an associate financial planner.

Key responsibilities

• Gather client information and documentation to support advice preparation.
• Conduct technical research across a wide range of financial products and solutions.
• Prepare suitability reports and supporting documentation for financial planners.
• Maintain comprehensive, up‑to‑date client records.
• Support senior financial planning team members and attend client meetings.
• Participate in networking events to showcase the business and attract new clients.

Required profile

• Current or recent experience in paraplanning.
• Motivation to transition into a financial planning career.
• Interest in working with affluent and high‑net‑worth clients.
