Paraplanner – Chartered Boutique Financial Planning Firm

About the role

Join a small, highly qualified team at a chartered boutique financial planning firm in Leeds. You will provide technical paraplanning support to two Chartered planners, turning client discussions into high‑quality research, analysis and suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis across all advice areas.
• Prepare suitability reports using AI‑supported templates.
• Perform product and provider comparisons.
• Execute cashflow modelling.
• Liaise with providers and maintain compliant records.
• Handle pre‑ and post‑sale administration as required.
• Improve paraplanning processes and templates.

Required profile

• Previous paraplanning experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and tax.
• Excellent report writing and attention to detail.
• Confidence using planning software such as Voyant, CashCalc and Intelliflo.
• Good understanding of FCA/regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Level 4 Diploma (or working towards it) is a plus.
