Paraplanner – Farnborough

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a Chartered independent wealth‑planning firm in Farnborough. You will work within a supportive team of ten paraplanners, reporting to a dedicated Paraplanning Manager, and help deliver comprehensive financial advice to high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review client documentation for pensions, investments, tax planning and retirement strategies.
• Assist advisers with cash‑flow modelling, protection analysis and specialist schemes such as VCT and EIS.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with accountancy and solicitor partners to gather necessary information.
• Support the advisory team by producing high‑quality client reports and recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of paraplanning experience.
• Completed some R0 exams towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Strong understanding of pension, investment and tax planning processes.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow guidance from the Paraplanning Manager.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pension and investment products.
• Familiarity with tax planning concepts.
• Cash‑flow modelling proficiency.
