Paraplanner – Financial Planning

About the role

We are seeking a Diploma‑qualified Paraplanner to join a well‑established financial planning firm in Hove. The role involves supporting advisers in delivering high‑quality, compliant financial advice and offers a pathway towards Chartered status.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and model scenarios using planning software.
• Prepare and review investment proposals, suitability reports and financial reports for clients.
• Collaborate with Financial Advisers to develop tailored financial strategies.
• Research financial products, providers and investment opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate client records.

Required profile

• CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) – essential.
• Strong understanding of investments, pensions, personal tax, estate planning and protection.
• Ability to perform basic tax calculations and write suitability reports.
• Experience supporting the delivery of financial advice within a financial services environment.

Required skills

• Financial planning software (e.g., Monte Carlo, MoneyGuidePro).
• Investment analysis and modelling.
• Research of financial products and providers.
